Rules and Restrictions

All local laws must be obeyed at all times. Criminal acts are cause for expulsion.

Photos and recordings are by prior approval.

Firearms are not permitted on The Blackbear Lodge property unless the owner / user has passed a certified and approved firearms safety course.  Open carry is permitted by those who have  passed a certified and approved firearms safety course and where allowed by law.

All weapons must be safely and securely stored when not in use.

Pets and animals are only allowed within the individual homesteads.  No pets or animals are allowed in the common areas at any time.

Only registered members and their registered family members are permitted at the Lodge.  Accompanies guests are permitted for up to 3 days unless within the hosting members homestead.

Non-members are permitted provided there is adquate space.

Camping and RV's are permitted in designated areas and rented residential and land use areas for members and their guests.






At no time may dangerous or toxic chemicals or flammable liquids be stored on the property without approval of the management

Biodegradable waste is to be separated from non-biodegradable waste both of which must be appropriately disposed of as directed by the management.

Harvesting of trees is not permitted without prior permission.  Firewood will be supplied as needed.

All property is to be maintained in a neat, clean, safe fashion as directed by the management.

The management reserves the right to inspect all property coming into the Lodge.

Any member found to be threatening the safety of another member will be expelled at the discretion at the discretion of the management.

All commercial activities must be approved by the management.

Excessive alcohol consumption is not permitted or tolerated.

Illegal or recreational drug use is not permitted.

Smoking is not permitted except in designated areas
